Adapted Physical Education

Welcome to our Adapted Physical Education webpage! At Black River Falls we believe that every child should be afforded the opportunity to participate in physical activity in a variety of ways that allow our students to move and become more active and healthy students. It is imperative that our students learn how to move in a variety of ways throughout their schooling here at Black River Falls. We also believe that students should be participating and taking part in physical activities that are readily available to students once they enter the community. As a result, most of the physical activities implemented within our schools promote life-long physical activity. These bring out multiple movements in a variety of ways and can be implemented within the community with little to no equipment.

Physical Activities Include:

  • Utilizing Community Fitness Center
  • Biking
  • Community Walks
  • Volunteering at Jackson County Animal Shelter
  • Adapted Aquatics
  • Orienteering and hiking
  • Soccer
  • Safely Navigating Playground Equipment
  • Archery
  • Fishing
  • Bowling
  • …and many more
