FBLA Travels to Minneapolis Conference
Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) members from Black River Falls High School traveled to Minneapolis, MN to attend the NFLC on November 14-15. The conference was held at the Minneapolis Hilton and included students and advisors from Wisconsin, Kansas, Illinois, Iowa, and Nebraska.
While at the conference, students attended a number of workshops on topics such as fundraising, finance, networking, goal setting, entrepreneurship, and leadership.
Students were also given opportunities to network with other FBLA members from around the country and tour businesses in Minneapolis. Throughout the conference there were a number of exhibits from business organizations and schools that were eager to provide information and advice to students.
The Black River Falls High School FBLA consists of 21 members that participate in leadership conferences, competitions and school activities. Their goal is to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs.
