HS students, staff working on JFK history project
The high school social studies department is working with students on a the MEMORIES OF NOVEMBER 22, 1963 project.
50 years ago this November President John F. Kennedy was assassinated by Lee Harvey Oswald in Dallas, Texas. His death marked a pivotal moment in American history and the media coverage of the event and its aftermath forever changed our national landscape.
The department is asking students and and staff members to interview a family member of another adult that has a living memory of that day.
The Falls History Project was established in 2000 as a way of documenting and preserving local history for the benefit of future students of BRFHS.
