December Highlights...

Gebhardt Front Page, Gebhardt Elementary
For those of you that were lucky enough to attend the Sounds of the Season program on December 14th were treated to a fantstic holiday celebration! I thought the kids did a fantastic job! They sang beautifully, looked enthusiastic and genuinely took pride in their performance! How exciting! This is Mrs. Cowles first year at Gebhardt, and I couldn't be more excited about the direction of the music program!
On Thursday, December 16 we are doing a buddy activity with Forrest Street Elementary. The fourth grade students are traveling to work with the kindergarten and the first grade students are coming to Gebhardt to work with the fifth grade. There will be a buddy reading story, an activity and a little treat time between the groups. It's always a very fun day!
This is also the day of our Christmas luncheon. The staff has a wonderful time decorating the gym, providing some holiday entertainment and serving the students lunch. This is a great activity to help create our Gebhardt Community!
