225 Intro to Business
Grade Level 9-12 Term/0500 credit(s)
Elective
Students will develop a sense of their role as a consumer in today's society. They will discuss the economy and how businesses succeed. The class will explore entrepreneurship and owning and operating a small business. Students will tour local businesses and use a virtual business simulation software program. They will discuss financial institutions, credit usage, business ethics, social responsibility, advertising, and technology in today's business world. The class is a good introduction to other business courses
