MINUTES OF MEETING # 15 (SPECIAL) OF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION OF THE SCHOOL DISTRICT OF BLACK RIVER FALLS ON JUNE 6, 2006 AT 4:00 P.M. IN THE DISTRICT OFFICE BOARD ROOM

Board Members Present: Ramie Bakken, Paul Bohac, Lois Corey, Barb Sedelbauer, Bill Waughtal

Board Members Absent: Don Mathews, Jeff Pugh

The meeting was called to order by Vice President Lois Corey at 4:00 p.m.

Notices of the meeting were delivered to the Banner Journal, WWIS Radio Station and Jackson County Chronicle and posted in three (3) public places on June 5, 2006.

Discussion was held on the High School Track Renovation Project. The district has received donations in the amount of $56,931 toward the project.

Paul Bohac moved to award the contract to Mathy Construction Company for the High School Track Renovation Project in the amount of $328,250 with a total project cost to the district of $335,000 including HSR fees and contingencies. Barb Sedelbauer seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Paul Bohac moved to ratify the 2006-08 Contract with the Black River Falls Educational Support Personnel Association (BRFESPA) with a 6.26% total package increase for 2006-07 and 5.83% total package increase for 2007-08. Lois Corey seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Lois Corey moved to approve the following employment recommendations:

Barb Sedelbauer seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Ramie Bakken moved to adjourn at 4:28 p.m. Barb Sedelbauer seconded the motion.
