Board Members absent: Ramie Bakken

Meeting convened at 4:35 p.m.

Brad Simonson distributed booklets and presented a building by building outline of the findings of the district facility study conducted by his firm, HSR and Associates.

Following his presentation and after extensive discussion of the existing sites and the efficiencies that could be generated by changes within the district, the board agreed to engage HSR in additional work and asked Brad to focus his efforts on three areas:

1. Study the feasibility of constructing a new high school or additions to the existing building on the green space located south of the existing high school

2. Study the feasibility of replacing two of the existing elementary schools with one new facility

3. Examine the possibility of relocating the district office to Gebhardt School.

Brad indicated that he could have preliminary findings completed within a month. He was directed to contact Dr. Richards to schedule a follow-up meeting.
