WRITE A LETTER TO
GOVERNOR DOYLE
SAMPLE LETTER
AVAILABLE HERE
Be one of the thousands of
people who contact Governor Doyle's office before Jan 14 to tell him that
you think after school is a great idea and more importantly, that
providing funding for after school is necessary to ensure that every child
has a safe place to go after school. Contact him at:

4-H ADULT
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Could you help just
one day a week? Could you help one day a month? During BLAST's
enrichment time, the students lead their own 4-H Afterschool clubs.
They have officers and a small treasury and they choose the
direction their enrichment time will take. There's just one thing
missing. You! Please contact Monica
Lobenstein if you would be willing to help out with 4-H
Afterschool.
PARENT & COMMUNITY
INVOLVEMENT
Volunteers are always welcome at BLAST. We have
volunteers from Middle School age students to senior citizens, and
we are always looking for more. Volunteers receive an initial
orientation and are invited to optional monthly trainings.
EVERYDAY
EXPLORATION
Explore something new everyday! Everyday
Exploration is a monthly series of family and community
events. Each of these evenings includes a free meal and has a special theme that
families and community members can enjoy together. Click here
