Valentine’s Day Sweetheart Lunch at Forrest Street Early Learning Center
What better way for a child to celebrate Valentine's Day than with all the sweethearts in their family!
On Thursday, February 11, family members were invited to Forrest Street Early Learning Center (FSLEC) to enjoy a special lunch with their child. Two hundred sixty-two family members attended; it was a fantastic turnout!
Families enjoyed a meal of Cupid's grilled chicken, roasted potatoes, broccoli, strawberries, dinner rolls and cherry cutie pie for dessert.
The cafeteria at FSELC, which also doubles as a gymnasium, was made festive by fabulous decorations made by Ms. Sweeny, the art teacher. The FSELC staff all pitched in, serving food, doing dishes and helping families find their ways to the event. It was a huge success! |
