If you have failed one or more terms of English 9 or 10, there is an
opportunity to make up a 1/2 credit of English, starting in January.
Please see a counselor in the guidance office today if you need to
make up an English credit. This class will be held on Thursday
evenings at the Black River Falls-Western Technical College Campus.
This make-up class is free of charge, but students must pay a $4.00
material fee. Sign up today in the Guidance Office. Space is very
limited. (1/8)

FCCLA members, only one month till Regional Competition. FCCLA
has the following dates available during focus to work one on one with
a alumni on preparing your project for competition: 1/7, 1/8, 1/12,
1/13, 1/15. Please write these dates in your planner. You must be on
privilege to attend. Also please check your e-mail for important
information from Mrs. Halverson and Mrs. Gilbertson. (1/8) FFA
members: The BRF FFA hoodie order deadline has been extended! If you
would like to order a BRF FFA hoodie, the order forms are in the ag

Art Club will be meeting on Monday,

during focus in room 115. The agenda includes choosing a project for the VAC event (you must be present to choose the project
of your choice), discussing VAC artist research information, UW-River Falls.
All members that need to turn in permission signed forms remember to submit
them otherwise you will not be able to participate. The
Student Senate Executive Committee will meet today -- four officers,
committee chairs, and Lily M. Starting
today we have 11 regular class days left in term 2. Have you
check your grades? Are you using your focus time wisely? Congratulations
goes out to Emily J for winning the county level American Legion
Oratorical Contest last evening. She competed against an
excellent speaker from Melrose-Mindoro that went to state her
sophomore year in this event. Emily will now go on to compete at
the district level on January 25th. Good Luck, Emily! RUSA
