Scholarships Announced
The Black
River Falls Area Foundation has announced student scholarships
available for this school year.
These scholarships are open to any
Black River
Falls
High School
graduate currently attending a post secondary school in
Wisconsin
or planning to attend a post secondary school in
Wisconsin
next school year.
The BRF
Area Foundation David and Marilyn Hoffman Fund will be an
annual scholarship which will pay tuition for one year to any
BRF
High School
graduate attending a post secondary school in
Wisconsin
. This scholarship
will be awarded each spring and available for the school year
beginning the following fall.
The BRF
Area Foundation Anna and James Klir Jr. Memorial Scholarship
will be an annual scholarship of up to $1000.00 for a resident
of the BRF school district pursuing a degree program at a
four-year college or university or a two-year technical college.
Applicants must also provide evidence of community
service and have been out of high school for at least 3 years.
The BRF
Area Foundation Dean Nortman Memorial Scholarship will be an
annual scholarship of up to $500.00 for any
BRF
High School
graduate pursuing a career in fire science or EMT related
education. This
scholarship will be awarded each spring and available for the
school year beginning the following fall.
The BRF
Area Foundation Alumni Association Scholarship will be an
annual scholarship of up to $500.00 for any
BRF
High School
graduate. The
student may be attending either a technical college or a
university to be eligible. This
scholarship will be awarded each spring and available for the
school year beginning the following fall.
