Juniors, it’s time to schedule senior portraits!

Yearbook Senior Portrait Deadline: October 24, 2008

The Breeze staff is already beginning to plan your 2009 Breeze yearbook. In order to help you make plans for your senior portrait session and keep hassles to a minimum, the Breeze 2009 staff would like to share our senior portrait policy with you.

Because we’d like to crop and resize photos as little as possible, we are requiring all photos submitted to meet the following requirements:

	wallet-sized
	color
	vertical, head and shoulder shots
	no name stamps, borders or obvious photo alteration (changes made to colors, content, etc. in Photoshop)
	no pets, cars, props, etc.
	one person per photo

You are NOT required to use a professional photographer; however, if you do choose to have a friend or relative take your photo, please keep the above rules in mind. Also, photos taken outdoors on cloudy days are often best, as the lighting isn’t too harsh.

To ensure the highest quality printing, please ask your photographer to submit your photo digitally if possible.

In addition, all students must conform to the school dress code when appearing in the senior portraits. The dress code can be found in the student handbook. Please refrain from choosing a photo for the yearbook in which the senior is shirtless or wearing straps less than 1 inch.

Our senior portrait deadline for this year’s book is Friday, October 24, 2008.

When submitting your photo, please write your full name clearly on the CD or back of the print. Photos submitted after October 24 are not guaranteed to be placed in the book. Your photographer may mail your photo to us, but please check with your studio a few weeks before the deadline to make sure your photo was sent to our office. Photographers should send a 500K-1 MB JPG on a CD to Breeze, Black River Falls High School , 1200 Pierce Street , Black River Falls , WI 54615 . Please, do not send photos over email.

Make sure you have your photos in on time; in addition to making sure that your child is pictured in his or her senior yearbook, these are also the photos that are submitted to the local newspaper for their graduation ad inserts to save our office staff and your son or daughter the extra hassle.
