The Student Showcase and 8th Grade Ceremony celebrated the hard work, creativity, and achievements of middle school students across all grade levels. The special evening also honored 8th-grade students as they prepare to leave middle school and begin their high school journeys. During the ceremony, students received awards for academic achievement, attendance, citizenship, and excellence in their school subjects.
The event gave the community a chance to see student talents and projects up close.
The district recognized many students for their excellent grades. Honor Roll applause went to Alexandra Blazek, Brayden Dahl, Liam Erickson, Gianna Garvin, Nora Gerke, Aubrey Gilbert, Jackson Gunn, Jhett Hale, Jackson Hayden, Matthew Hintz, Ava Kalstad, Harmony McDonald, Natalie Miner, Hudson Moe, Mica Nieman, Maddox Pfaff, George Rave, Late Rave, Kaius Simmons, Jalene Smith, William True, Dominick Valentino, and Sophia Zillmer.
The High Honor Roll students were also recognized for their dedication to learning. These students include Nick Anderson, Sophia Berry, Isaiah Burnham, Sophia Cooper, Pearl Duff, Keesa Edwards, Caleb Ellingson, Wyatt Gunderson, Oliver Hansen, Rilyn Hansen, Ian Janowski, Blake Jaeger, Addison Johnson, Eleanora Keller, Kyler Krpata, Harper Morris, Brayden Olson, Emerson Rauvola, Brianna Reese, Liam Scharpf, Aiden Sherman, Lia Smetana, Willow Taylor, Hollis Todd, Michelle Voogt, and Nixon Wood.
Two students earned special recognition for achieving a perfect 4.0 GPA, the highest academic honor a student can achieve in middle school. These top scholars are Caleb Biddle and Henry (Hank) McCullough.
Excellent attendance was another major reason to celebrate that evening. Students with zero tardies included Caleb Biddle, Caleb Ellingson, Rilyn Hansen, and George Rave. Students who achieved 97% or higher attendance included Caleb Biddle, Luciana Cuminale, Brayden Dahl, Caleb Ellingson, Jaxston Elmore, Rilyn Hansen, Grayson Howard, Ava Kalstad, Ava Konicki, Malachi Littlebird, Peyton Peterson, George Rave, Elise Stenulson, Ephraim Wood, and Sophia Zillmer.
