Now that the final bell has rung and the hallways have grown quiet, we want to take a moment to celebrate an incredible school year. Our students have worked hard, grown immensely, and are now ready for a well-deserved break.
While summer is a time for relaxation, it’s also the perfect season to keep those young minds active!
Keep the Pages Turning
To avoid the “summer slide,” we encourage all students to keep reading over the break. Whether it’s a comic book at the beach, a mystery under a backyard tent, or a biography on a rainy afternoon, 20 minutes of reading a day makes a world of difference.
Don’t forget to visit the local library—they often have fantastic summer reading challenges, activities and prizes!
Summer School at Red Creek
We are thrilled to offer two focused sessions of extended learning for students in Grades 1–5.
These programs are designed to provide extra support and enrichment in a fun, engaging environment.
Details for our second of two sessions:
Time: 7:45 AM – 12:15 PM
Location: Red Creek Elementary
Session 2: July 20-24
We hope you can join us for these great opportunities to sharpen their skills before the next school year begins!
Enjoy Every Moment
Beyond the books and the classroom, we hope you take the time to enjoy everything summer has to offer. Go for a swim, enjoy a bike ride, eat too many popsicles, and make memories with family and friends.
Thank you for being such a vital part of our school community. We wait with anticipation to welcome the current 1st graders to Red Creek as they move to 2nd grade and we wish our 5th graders well as they transition to the middle school. We can’t wait to see your refreshed and smiling faces in the fall!
Have a safe, happy, and healthy summer!
