The Paw Print Live staff kicked off the 2026-27 season with a movie night under the stars! Executive Producer Peyton Taylor organized a perfect sunset gathering on the football field to welcome new team members. The crew caught up on the latest news, munched on popcorn and homemade cookies, and watched The Hunger Games.

With over 40 staffers stepping into the studio for morning announcements this month, this relaxing evening was the perfect way to connect faces and names. We love seeing our students build community and support one another right from the start. #tiGRRpride

Let's send our State-bound Tiger track athletes off in true Black River Falls style! Friday morning—that's June 5—our incredible State track qualifiers are heading to Veterans Memorial Stadium for the state meet, and the fire department is giving them an escort out of town. We want to line the streets with orange and black to show them that the entire community is riding with them!

Here is the timeline and route so you can plan your cheering spot:
🏫 10:15 AM: Athletes and the fire department will meet at the high school.
🚒 10:30 AM: The escort officially leaves the school grounds.
📍The Route: The caravan will head down Main Street and travel up over the top of the bridge.

Whether you're waving a sign or cheering loudly from the sidewalk, let's make some serious noise and let these student-athletes know how proud we are of their hard work and dedication.

See you Friday morning, Tiger Country! Bring your biggest smiles and your loudest cheers! #tiGRRpride

We are incredibly proud to announce that several of our student-athletes have earned WBCA Academic All-State honors. It takes a special kind of discipline to balance a varsity schedule with a heavy course load. To qualify for this prestigious statewide honor, these athletes had to maintain a cumulative career GPA of 3.5 or higher. That’s not just a good season; that’s years of hard work, late-night studying after away games, and a commitment to excellence beyond the box score.

Congratulations to our Academic All-State honorees:

Morgan Kundinger
Hayden Brown
Lily Sullivan
Olivia Larkin
Iris Zenz
Tylan Brown

Our students aren’t just the leaders of tomorrow—they are leading today. On Thursday, March 5, our Raise Your Voice members stood alongside peers from across the state to meet with legislators and share their stories. Their mission? To advocate for critical mental health support.

By speaking directly with our state representatives, these Tigers are ensuring that young people are not just seen, but heard and supported. We are proud of their courage and commitment to making Wisconsin a healthier place for everyone. Show your support for these student advocates by dropping a "🧡" in the comments!

Educational & Career Planning Conferences start next week! Parents and guardians, don’t forget to sign up for a time to meet with your student and their counselor beginning October 2. Check your email for the signup form.

These are not traditional parent/teacher conferences. Instead, they’re a chance to focus on your students'...

✨ Talents and interests
📚 Current class progress
🎓 Future educational and career goals
🔑 Transition to high school

Conferences typically last 30–45 minutes, and your involvement is crucial. If you’re unable to attend, counselors will still meet with your student and encourage them to share what they’ve discussed with you.

We've got a big shoutout to Megan Kundinger, Sarah Halverson, and Jennifer Rukavina for hitting the 20-year milestone with the School District of Black River Falls!
