This afternoon, students witnessed a powerful and emotional mock crash event in the Lunda Park parking lot, followed by impactful speakers in the theatre. The event was planned by Lily Olson, part of the FCCLA's high school chapter. Student actors included Katelyn Nosbisch, Cecil Lopez, Keanau Maphis, and Lily Olson. Local first responders from Black River Falls brought the scene to life with their involvement, making the experience all the more real. Thank you to everyone who helped make this important awareness event possible. #tiGRRpride

We want to keep everyone safe, so the School District of Black River Falls will be closed on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, due to potentially tricky travel conditions in the morning. As a result, all after-school activities are also canceled. We hope the kids can stay warm, cozy up with a good book, and enjoy the unexpected break. Stay safe, and we’ll see you soon!

This past weekend, 13 talented BRFHS musicians participated in the 75th Dorian Band Festival at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa! Our students played in three ensembles—an auditioned symphonic band and two massed bands—representing BRFHS with pride and musicianship. 🎶🎷 🌟 A huge shoutout to this year's participants: Andrea Cogswell, Josie Demaske, Zach Dobson, Casso Eagen, Ava Gilberg, Bailey Goldsmith, Keanau Goldsmith, David Jacobs, Karolann Mann, Lillian Ottum, Garrett Tande, Grace Tande, and Jackson Tiedens! 🎉 See the full performance here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-lCiltMOcZY Way to go, BRFHS musicians! 🎶🔥 #BRFHS #DorianBandFestival #MusicExcellence #TiGRRpride
