Tiger Families,

To ensure the safety of our students and staff, the School District of Black River Falls will be releasing early today, Friday, April 17. By moving up our dismissal times, we aim to get our buses on the road and students home safely.

Middle & High School Students: 1:40 PM

Let’s give a big round of applause to Anton Cassidy! Anton has been an incredibly active leader and competitor during his time here. From the athletic fields in soccer, tennis, and track to the academic arenas of Science Club and Science Olympiad, Anton has truly done it all. He has also served his peers in Student Senate and explored the world of finance through the Tiger Investment Club (TIC).

One of Anton's favorite high school memories was the hands-on challenge of building a concrete canoe—a project that perfectly blends engineering and teamwork! Looking toward the future, Anton plans to attend college, with his sights set on UW-Madison. We know his curiosity and drive will lead to great success as a Badger. Congratulations, Anton! 👐🔴🏫

Let’s give a big shout-out to Cole Gearing! Cole has been a true multi-sport athlete and an active leader throughout his high school career. From the fields and courts of baseball, football, basketball, and soccer to the competitive events in FCCLA, FBLA, and Science Club, Cole has balanced a busy schedule with impressive dedication.

After graduation, Cole is headed to technical school to pursue a degree in electrical maintenance. We know his hands-on skills and strong work ethic will help him excel as he begins his training in this essential field. Congratulations on your graduation, Cole! ⚡🛠️🏢

Let’s hear it for Esat Imeri! Esat has been a dedicated student and a great part of our school community, serving as a member of the National Honor Society and the Science Club. He’s also shared his creative side in Art Club and his passion for helping others through Raise Your Voice.

Next year, Esat is headed to UW-Green Bay to major in Human Biology on the pre-med track. We’re so impressed by his hard work and can’t wait to see what he achieves in his future. Congratulations, Esat! 🩺

Let’s give a big shout-out to Aidan Krista! Aidan has been a leader both on the field and in the classroom. He’s been a key part of our athletic programs in football and track while staying incredibly involved in a wide range of organizations, including FBLA, Science Club, FCCLA, and the Tiger Investment Club.

After graduation, Aidan is headed to the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, where he plans to major in finance. With his experience in our investment and business clubs, we know he is well-prepared for success in the financial world. Congratulations and best of luck at UWL, Aidan! 🦅💰

Let’s hear it for Scarlett Ledebuhr! Scarlett has spent her high school years filling our halls with music and talent. From her performances in the school musicals to representing us at the Dorian Music Festival and the Clearwater Choral Festival, her voice has been a highlight of our Choir program.

Looking ahead, Scarlett is turning her artistic talents toward a unique career path. She is currently apprenticing to become a tattoo artist, blending her creativity and technical skill into a professional trade. We can’t wait to see the incredible art you’ll create, Scarlett! 🎨💉

Let’s hear it for Libby Moldenhauer! She’s been a powerhouse of leadership and activity, serving as tennis captain, NHS president, and a class officer. Between basketball, club soccer, Science Club, and her work as a Jackson Electric Cooperative Youth Ambassador, Libby’s truly done it all while bringing tons of energy to Pep Club.

Beckett Hodge (Boys Basketball): A versatile asset to the team who brings that same high-level focus to his work in the classroom.

Ben Bresee (Boys Hockey): The ultimate teammate! Ben does whatever is asked of him and plays any position needed to help the team succeed.

Olivia Larkin (Girls Basketball): A basketball machine (averaging 12 points and 11 rebounds!) who leads with integrity and works hard even when no one is watching.
