The fourth graders from Red Creek walked to the public library earlier this month to listen to a presentation given by Bill Quackenbush. Mr. Quackenbush brought the canoe he and other members of the Ho-Chunk nation built. He told a little about the journey this canoe has already taken and future planned journeys. Mr. Quackenbush also showed pictures of the canoes recently uncovered in Madison. One of those canoes has been dated to about 3,000 years ago. Thank you Mr. Quackenbush! #tiGRRpride

The third and fifth grade students took some time during their Art class to share some LOVE this season! To show their appreciation for the service of the Veterans at the VAMC in Tomah, they made unique and creative valentines to share! It is part of a National Salute to Veteran Patience which is held February 11 - 17th.
