Stretching every dollar for our students and taxpayers is a top priority!
We take our role as financial stewards seriously. Over the years, our careful planning has helped keep our property tax mill rate low. In fact, in recent years, our mill rate has declined by nearly 40%, making it the second-lowest in our conference!
Here is how our fiscal responsibility directly benefits our community:
🍎 $2.3 Million Saved: Refinancing and pre-paying debt from our 2014 referendum saved taxpayers $2.3 million.
🍎 $9 Million Saved: Favorable interest rates on our 2020 referendum reduced estimated taxpayer costs by $9 million.
We remain committed to providing top-notch educational opportunities while protecting your investment in our schools. #tiGRRpride #financefacts

Our third graders went on a time-traveling adventure during summer school, session 2! Using a homemade time machine, our historians explored history through hands-on fun:
🎨Prehistoric Times: Painted original cave art
🛡️Medieval Times: Designed custom family coats of arms
📜Ancient Egypt: Crafted papyrus and personalized cartouches
🥤The 1950s: Learned the Twist at a sock hop while sipping milkshakes!
To wrap up the trip, students made time capsules filled with their memories and future dreams. They will stay sealed until graduation day in 2036, a special gift for their future selves! Don't you wish you'd been able to time travel with them? #tiGRRpride
