Thanks to grant funding, this unforgettable experience brought the magic of music to life for our students. 📸✨ Creative Problem Solving Day Fun! ✨📸 On Tuesday, November 19, our third graders had the unique opportunity to participate in Creative Problem Solving Day hosted by Blair-Taylor Schools! Area 3rd grade classes attended, and Red Creek proudly sent 12 students, 2 from each class, to represent us. Our students showcased their teamwork, creativity, and critical thinking as they tackled fun challenges and connected with peers from other schools. It was an inspiring day full of learning and collaboration! 💡🤝 Thank you to Blair-Taylor Schools for hosting this fantastic event. 🏅 October Athlete of the Month: Blake Koresh 🏅 Congratulations to Blake Koresh for being named Athlete of the Month for the Adaptive Sports League! Coach Schafer shares, “Blake has been a leader for the team. He encourages everyone on the team while holding kids accountable. Blake helps with setting up every day and takes on teaching new players how to play their best.” Thank you, Blake, for your dedication and leadership both on and off the court. 🏃‍♀️ October Athlete of the Month: Lily Miller 🏃‍♀️ Congratulations to Lily Miller for being recognized as Athlete of the Month for Cross Country! Coach Markee shares, “Lily has been a strong runner for our team - she is a leader and role model to other runners on our team. She finishes in the top of all girls at our meets, and this past week she earned 2nd Team All-Conference. This was the third year she has been an All-Conference runner. Lily is also a very strong member of our swim team.” Amazing work, Lily! Your dedication to both running and swimming is an inspiration to us all. 🧡💪

🏈 October Athlete of the Month: Austin Lund 🏈 Let’s hear it for Austin Lund, our Football Athlete of the Month! Coach Severson says, “Austin works extremely hard during practices, and he has been finding some success in games as well. He’s fun to be around and always up for a challenge.” Austin, your determination and positive attitude are what Tiger Football is all about. Keep up the great work! 🐾🔥

🎉 Shoutout to Tim Coupe, one of October's Students of the Month! 🎉 Tim, an alternative education student, has shown remarkable dedication to his learning. Ms. Forman says, "He is determined to get as much out of his courses as he can. He puts in the time and is always open to help and guidance." 🎉 Congratulations to Grace Tande, our tenth-grade October Student of the Month! 🎉 Grace shines in her history lessons and beyond. Mr. Youngthunder describes Grace as "a wonderful historian, a great person, and an admirer of cross country." She works hard, always does her best, leads by example, and is never late to class. Way to go, Grace—your dedication and positivity inspire us all! 🏆

Please join Wąąkšik Wacek for Woikarap Haruka Bingo Night! It's Friday, November 22, in the High School Commons. Games begin at 6:30 PM, and a meal is served at 5:30 PM. The cost is $10 ($5 for elders and those under 8). Freewill donations are accepted!   Chili, bread, dessert and drink. All proceeds will go towards Wąąkšik Wacek Club for Waika, Social Dance and Banquet.

Jackson Correctional Institute (JCI) teamed up with BRF Walmart to make a difference! Together, they identified food items of interest to the Persons In Our Care (PIOC). Through this partnership, the upcharge from the cost of goods sold turned into a donation for the School District of Black River Falls, specifically to support their Angel Funds program. The high school soccer season marked the end of their season with a banquet on Tuesday night, and we want to take a moment to celebrate their achievements and reflect on an unforgettable journey! ⚽️ A huge congratulations to Aeron Hanson, Ari Rukavina, and Jackson Tiedens, who earned South Central All-Conference Second-Team honors. ⚽️ Luke Bradt was recognized with an All-Conference Honorable Mention for his efforts on the field. ⚽️ Aeron Hanson was also voted Team MVP, showcasing incredible dedication and leadership throughout the season. ⚽️ Jay Pleinis earned the title of Most Improved Player, a testament to his hard work and growth this year. They finished with a conference record of 4-7-1. The memories, friendships, and lessons from this season go far beyond the scoreboard.
