The Tigers fought hard against a tough West Salem team Tuesday, December 17. West Salem took the lead against BRF in the opening few minutes and never looked back. BRF was able to compete through the first half and the beginning of the second, pulling within 14 points, but West Salem's 3-point shooting and offensive rebounding was too much for BRF to handle.
🌟 Standout Performances:
Braylon Backaus led the team with 16 points.
Cecil Lopez followed closely with 15 points.
Zaedyn Roseth added 9 points to the board.
Archer Grant and Nolan Boehm each had 4 points
Will Sedelbauer finished with 2 points
Shoutout to Mason Meimann, who scored his first varsity point at the free-throw line!

First graders are over the moon 🌙 with their new hands-on astronomy unit! They built constellations from marshmallows and toothpicks (talk about edible engineering at its finest, right?) and used Oreos to explore the moon's phases. Learning about space has never been so sweet! #FutureAstronauts #LearningIsFun #SpaceExploration
The boys basketball team took their game to the Viroqua High School gymnasium last Thursday night. Viroqua took a 10-point lead at halftime through BRF's zone defense after a cold shooting start for the Tigers. BRF climbed back into the game with a better shooting performance in the second half. BRF got to within one point but couldn't climb into the lead, and when the last buzzer rang, the scoreboard read 63-57.
Cecil Lopez and Nolan Boehm led the way for the Tigers with 16 points each, followed by Braylon Backaus with 12 points, Archer Grant with 4 points, Zaedyn Roseth with 3 points, Will Sedelbauer with 3 points, and Lyndon Greengrass with 2 points. It was another competitive effort by the Tigers!
Come out and watch them at home on Tuesday night! They'll be taking on West Salem in the Fieldhouse. Game time is 5:45 and 7 PM--and the pep band is performing, so be prepared for extra entertainment!

Let's hear a big, proud Tiger ROAR! The Lady Tigers brought their A-game last night and roared to a 62-33 victory over GET! Senior Bella Falcon lit up the scoreboard with an incredible 23 points, while Kenley Brown was right behind with 11.
Even more impressive? The varsity girls' defense was unstoppable, shutting down GET on 18 possessions in the first half and an impressive 27 possessions in the second half!
