Please welcome Helena Ortiz, who is joining the High School as a Paraprofessional! Helena is excited to be working with a variety of students, helping their minds grow, and getting to know their unique interests. She loves philly cheese and grilled cheese sandwiches 🥪, and enjoys taking her children to the All Abilities Park near the Lunda Center. Fun fact: Helena has a beautiful singing voice—she grew up singing in her church choir and loved sharing songs with children at her former daycare. At the end of the day, her favorite moments are always spent with her two boys, who make everything brighter.

Carisa joins Black River Falls High School and Middle School as an Agriscience Teacher & FFA Adviser in her third year of teaching. The Marching Tigers have been busy practicing new music and routines for the upcoming marching season! Their first performance of 2025-2026 will be at the August 22 football game against Sparta!
