November is Homelessness Awareness Month. Each of the 72 purple flags on the courthouse lawn represents a child in the BRF School District who does not have a home of their own. When families lose housing, some go to the shelter (if available), stay at a motel, or live in a camper. Most families stay with friends or family in a spare bedroom, living room, or basement. Sometimes, families need to split up to accommodate their new living situation. If you lost your housing and live in one of these scenarios, our Homeless Liaison is here to help! homeless@brf.org #HomelessInWisconsin
